Kinesitherapy is a method of treatment and rehabilitation based on the use of dosed physical exercises and movements. It is a new direction in the treatment of joints and the spine. This is treatment by movement, the use of various forms of physical activity and natural human motor functions.

The main goals of kinesitherapy:

  • restoration and strengthening of the musculoskeletal system;
  • improvement of blood circulation and metabolic processes;
  • normalization of joints and spine;
  • reduction of pain syndrome;
  • prevention of exacerbations of chronic diseases

Indications:

  • osteochondrosis, intervertebral hernias;
  • arthritis, arthrosis;
  • scoliosis, posture disorders;
  • injuries and surgeries on the spine and joints;
  • diseases of the cardiovascular and respiratory systems;
  • overweight, physical inactivity

Contraindications:

  • acute inflammatory processes;
  • high temperature;
  • severe cardiovascular diseases in the decompensation stage;

The duration of one kinesitherapy session is usually from 30 to 60 minutes, depending on:

  • individual patient program;
  • complexity of exercises;
  • physical fitness;
