Health resort Primorsky is pleased to announce a new medical procedure – shock wave therapy (SWT). This modern treatment method has already proven its effectiveness in various musculoskeletal conditions.

Shock wave therapy (SWT) is a non-invasive method that uses acoustic waves to target affected tissues. It is effective for:

• musculoskeletal disorders (arthrosis, heel spur, tendinitis, epicondylitis);
• myofascial pain syndrome and chronic back pain;
• inflammatory processes in ligaments, tendons, and muscles;
• circulatory disorders and delayed tissue regeneration.

The procedure is performed by a physiotherapist after a mandatory consultation. To determine indications and contraindications, it is necessary to provide examination results (CT, MRI, ultrasound) and/or a specialist's conclusion (traumatologist, neurologist, rheumatologist) with a recommendation for SWT.
